About Grace & Able

Here at Grace & Able we are inspired by the famous quote “Be the change you wish to see in the world” and are putting our beliefs into action. We are a social enterprise that aims to equip, enable and empower people who are marginalised through opportunity provided by business. Just to clarify, we define social enterprise as an organisation that applies commercial strategies to maximise improvements in human and environmental well-being. Yep, we are using business as an agent for change.

With a love for design and a flair for fashion, we are a brand that is helping people rise above poverty and carve futures filled with purpose and hope. By using the power of consumer purchase, we are creating change and building community. So join us, as we #wearthechange because together we’re the change.

Our Founder, Emma Woodcock, has always been passionate about social justice. Born in New Zealand, she grew up in the Philippines, before returning to Australia and completing her education. Following this, she lived in the UK for several years. Now back in Australia as busy mum of two, she wants to use business to help others thrive and give every person the opportunity to make powerful choices.
